"Dimension of Colors"

Dimension of color 1

This collection of three artworks explores the stories conveyed through color, showcasing their evolution and representation in contemporary art. By employing a variety of color applications on canvases or flat planes, these works offer a profound aesthetic experience.

For instance, cool-toned colors evoke a sense of calmness, often perceived differently from the proximity and vibrancy of warm tones. Abstract Expressionism demonstrates these dynamics, emphasizing the aesthetic dimensions created by layering colors. The interplay of light and color properties—such as opacity, transparency, and tonal variation—creates a multi-dimensional experience through the "push and pull" method.

Dimension of color 2

The perception of color arises from various interactions between light and the observer's visual processes:
• Lightness and Darkness Perception: Colors emit and reflect light differently, creating varied visual effects.
• Warm and Cool Perception: Colors categorized into warm and cool tones impact aesthetic responses uniquely.
• Movement and Blur Perception: Light reflections can create optical illusions, akin to Op Art.
• Harmonious Perception: Colors with similar light wavelengths blend seamlessly, enhancing continuity.
• Contrasting Feelings Perception: Variations in color intensity and light absorption create striking contrasts.
• Tonality Perception: A dominant color influences the visual narrative of the artwork.

Dimension of color 3

Color remains pivotal in visual art, fostering psychological, symbolic, and aesthetic interpretations. It serves as an expressive medium, evoking emotions, enriching perception, and stimulating sentiment.
