CREATIVE WORK

"The Spirit of Ikigai:
A Philosophy of Life"

This work is inspired by the philosophy of Ikigai, structured around five core pillars: Starting small, releasing the self, Harmony and sustainability, the joy of little things, and Being in the here and now. Ikigai is interpreted as an unseen yet deeply perceptible force—experienced through awareness, sensation, and inner reflection.

The concept explores the relationship between invisibility and human perception, akin to air—formless yet essential—or to storms and lightning, momentary manifestations of immense power that leave lasting impressions. Rather than focusing solely on visual recognition, the work invites viewers to sense, perceive, and become aware of their own presence. Through subtle rhythms, silence, and attentiveness, the artwork creates a space for contemplation, where meaning emerges from the present moment and reconnects art with the essence of living.
