“Lanna Objects” is a video artwork that adopts a documentary art approach to explore the living and being, and the cultural memory of Lanna women through their commodities once embedded in their daily practices. Inspired by the narrative of the artist’s own great grandmother who was the last generation in the family to live the Lanna way of life, before all objects became obsolete through the processes of cultural assimilation and dominance of the external influence.

The objectives was created a temporal entry point through three sets of Lanna cultural objects. The primary focus was the sensory of crossing into the past, with the sound inducing the inhabit of the Lanna’s way of life and World War II. The creative result in a video art with a total duration of 9 minutes and 42 seconds.
