One of the most prominent ceramic arts creations was delivered during the 1950 by a group of artists from the art institution in the United States, Los Angelis, California named the Otis Art Institute. By the guidance of Peter Voulkos (1924-2002) and colleague artists and lecturers in this institution such as Paul Soldner (1921-2011), John Mason (1927-2019), Jerry Rothman (1933-2014) Michael Frimkess (1930-present) and Henry Takamoto (1930-2015), brought the way of delivering ceramic arts to the next level. They took essences of the current mainstream art which was the abstract expressionism at that period of time into their accounts and streamlined their creations with non-traditional characteristics of being free-will, full of self- esteem and went over the edge. As the graduate from this institution, being inspired by works and achievements of these colleagues, bound to presents the creations that found on crystalized ideas and perspective of life-long experienced. The artist believes that the creation of abstract expressionism only stems from the core intention of the creator. Therefore, it takes time and require some sort of experience for art enthusiasts in order to walk into the same river.
