"Sparkles of Gemstones"

The "Sparkles of Gemstones" jewelry set serves as a platform for exploring techniques in working with small and defective gemstones, addressing a prevalent issue within the gem and jewelry sector. Opting for the acrylic frame method, the designer ingeniously encapsulates the gems within a transparent space, allowing for dynamic movement and reflection of light as the wearer moves. The chosen acrylic color enhances the shades of gemstones, providing a captivating visual display. In addition, designers also designed acrylic frame patterns from natural shapes that overlap with the thickness of the acrylic layer. Makes the work create dimensions both in terms of patterns and shades from the various colors of acrylic that are chosen.

Crafted as a silver metal pendant, this jewelry set offers versatility, enabling the wearer to customize the arrangement of the acrylic pieces housing the gemstones according to personal preference, resulting in a unique and new style of wearing jewelry. Leveraging insights gleaned from this experimentation, designers can propel innovation in working with small or defective gemstones, optimizing material utilization within the gem and jewelry industry. This endeavor not only establishes guidelines for cost-effective material usage but also aligns with the principles of the circular economy, promoting sustainable practices through the repurposing and reimagining of materials in jewelry design.
